About Ben
Ben Schick is an executive coach and consultant working with leaders who are committed to transforming themselves, their organizations, and their communities. For two decades, he has empowered leaders and teams to align their actions and cultures to create more sustainable and equitable futures. His clients include CEOs, educators, entrepreneurs, change-makers, visionaries, and senior leaders from numerous organizations including Apple, Stanford Healthcare, Sezzle, Women’s Earth Alliance, Synthesis Institute, Cardinal Health, Soul of Money Institute, Gather Restaurant, Unison, Holistic Agriculture, and the City of Oakland. Ben’s clients are focused on big impact, like pioneering complex trauma wellness retreats, providing alternative payment platforms, accelerating adoption of regenerative agriculture frameworks, organizing international climate activist networks, and quadrupling paid members in a large digital publishing vertical.
Ben brings a thoughtful, pragmatic approach to connecting his clients to their purpose and vision, drawing on a lifetime of potent frameworks and methodologies, as well as his own background as a senior executive leading 6 organizations over 25 years. After significant childhood trauma and a high degree of anxiety and depression, Ben learned how to restore his own nervous system and body to function at a higher level and feel more aliveness. His lifelong learning and practices around meditation, somatic practices, and diversity/equity work allow him to meet his clients wherever they are–and his somatic and strategic approach empowers leaders to deepen their impact.
Ben has always been interested in people–he holds a Bachelor’s in Anthropology from UCLA and a Master’s in Organizational Development from Antioch University, and is currently the president of the Strozzi Institute.
